Transmission Helps Students Revise For Their Exams

Published 05.05.08

Together with Manchester City Council’s North Manchester Regeneration Team, Transmission have created an innovative bus shelter advertising campaign encouraging GCSE students to use music to inspire them to exam success.

Titles of recent chart hits or classics are used as springboards for revision tips. For example recent number one Mercy (by Duffy) headlines advice on how candidates can win round examiners, while Run (by Gnarls Barkley) has a message for dealing with stress by recommending revision breaks and exercise.

The bus shelter advertising was supported by downloadable Revision Planners and a poster campaign that appeared in schools.

Let’s hope it inspires the students to exam success.
