Flame Digital taps into digital publishing trend with new site for YUDU media.

Flame Digital has completed the design and build of a new site for online publishing company YUDU Media. The site www.yudufreedom.com allows people across the globe to upload PDF versions of their documents, books, brochures, magazines or reports and convert them into hosted digital editions for free. Letting people share their work with the world in an innovative and carbon friendly format.

Flame Digital who have worked on a number of projects for YUDU Media were briefed to create a site that targeted and appealed to the ever growing ‘prosumer’ market. Prosumers identified as ‘professional consumers with a thirst for user generated content’. The site is clean and easy to navigate and has had a fantastic response from brands and individuals since its launch, with over 2000 free publications being created in the first week of launch.

Richard Stephenson, YUDU Media, said, “The site is unique, visually impactful and guides users masterfully through their online publishing experience. By making this publishing site free for everyone, YUDU intend to further advance the already flourishing trend for online publishing so that it will become more common practice in everyday life, . In particular the green credentials of this form of publishing will become more pertinent to both individuals and businesses.”

Dom Rodwell, Flame Digital, said, “We enjoy working with the YUDU team and share their forward thinking nature. Its always interesting for us as an agency to work with brands who are pushing and developing new sectors online.”

In addition to the free publishing service YUDU Media also offer an additional paid for online publishing product - YUDU Publishing Pro, aimed at business markets. www.yudufreedom.com
