Sonia gets creative for Stan

Stockport PR and creative communications agency, Stan has strengthened its team with the appointment of Sonia Chury as creative executive.

Sonia (23) of Whalley Range, graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University last summer with a BA in Design & Art Direction. She has also recently completed a series of creative workshops with the prestigious educational charity, D&AD, which represents the global creative, design and advertising communities.

Sonia was selected as one of only a handful of people nationally to participate in D&AD’s workshop programme that was staged at some of the North of England’s leading advertising agencies.

With specific skills in copywriting, concept generation and visual communication, Sonia will work closely alongside Stan’s creative director, Stephen Greene on a number of design projects including corporate branding and websites. She will also account manage some of the agency’s retained clients.

Stephen Greene commented: “Sonia is a very creative and talented design graduate and is a valuable addition to the Stan team.”
