PRWD Sponsor Manchester Digital's Usability Event
Published 08.01.09
A free seminar showing businesses how they can unlock the potential of their website and business systems through usability will be presented by Manchester Digital on Wednesday, January 28th. The seminar is being sponsored by usability and software development company PRWD.
More than just another technology fad or buzzword, usability, also described as user experience, can play a vital role in business success. Integral to web and software design processes, usability focuses on customers’ needs, wants and psychology to ensure a website or IT system is optimised for conversions and ease of use.
Explaining how the concept works, this free seminar will use real life examples, industry insights and a client case study to show the importance of incorporating usability processes into e-commerce websites, B2B websites, lead generation sites, intranets, internal software systems and bespoke web and software applications.
The event, which is open to all sectors, will feature three speakers - Paul Rouke, User Experience Director at PRWD, Judith Garman of AbilityNet and Pete Bagnall of SurfaceEffect. There will also be an opportunity for networking after the main event.
