arch+ways is launched
Published 08.01.09
arch+ways is a service dedicated to start up & SME arts organisations, artists, individuals and community organisations.
archways can help make your art happen – from an initial idea, through to project or business planning, fundraising or administration, we can help support an idea to its full realisation. Working across the spectrum of artists, curators, galleries, cultural and community organisations, we help co-ordinate and deliver creative activities and events, business development and fundraising, providing a resource for artists, non profit and community organisations.
arch+ways will provide advisory support to new and existing cultural clients (individuals and businesses) who are considering self-employment, setting up businesses, fundraising or seeking funding or increasing profitability.
The skills required to deliver effective projects and fundraising campaigns are specialised and hard for many creative individuals and organisations to deliver, lack of staff time or experience can put organisations at risk from spreading resources too thinly.
arch+ways can help solve this problem, assisting with project management and helping organisations to develop effective business and fundraising strategies, leaving time to concentrate on creative activities.
arch+ways offers experience, specialist advice and support to creative individuals & organisations. With our help, creative organisations will benefit from:
• Advice on new business, project and organisational development • Advice on governance and management • Support with business planning • Advice and support with fundraising • Development of fundraising strategies • Submission of funding bids • Advice and support with commercial sponsorship • Support with project evaluation • Gallery/visual arts project administration and management
arch+ways can help creative people and organisations to successfully deliver their projects and secure additional funding. Based in central Manchester, arch+ways can support organisations throughout the NW.
arch+ways has been established by Jack Hale, formerly Head of Development at Manchester’s Architecture Gallery, CUBE. Jack Hale has over 17 years of experience working in contemporary visual arts, craft & design, exhibitions, galleries, studio/work-spaces, community arts and arts festivals, specialising in fundraising from statutory funders as well as trusts and foundations.
