CIDS launches CT online

Published 21.04.08

CREATIVE Times online is here! We at CIDS have embraced the interactive and multimedia elements of the web to bring you the CREATIVE Times website.

It’s over two years since CREATIVE Times first arrived through your letterbox as the UK’s only trade journal for the creative industries – the 10th edition marks a new and exciting era for CT.

Not only can you enjoy reading a round up of news and features in CREATIVE Times but you can also keep up to date on a daily basis by registering with CREATIVE Times online and signing up to the magic that is RSS. Read a feature in CT and get more from the website with video and audio content.

For the past few months CIDS has been working hard with Bolton based brand and digital agency Fudge to develop the online presence of this our quarterly print publication. Fudge have combined all your favourite ingredients of CREATIVE Times with elements of the CIDS website to produce a community driven resource of news, comment and information.

“With CREATIVE Times being such a well respected and visually recognised publication, one of the key deliverables for us was to ensure its accurate and seamless translation to the digital environment. This didn’t mean an overhaul of its look and feel, more a respectful enhancement of the elements that existed Dinosaur’s original design.” Said David Eccles, Managing Director of Fudge.

CT’s digital sister is the place on the web to find industry news, features, comment, events and opportunities. With CREATIVE Times online you get to be in the news. Sign up, create a profile, showcase your work to potential clients and partners and tell the industry and the outside world what you’ve been up to. It’s easy for all visitors to find you in the all-new Directory. With a comprehensive recruitment section it’s also the place to advertise your vacancies or find your next job.

“CREATIVE Times online is the natural next step where people and businesses in the creative industries can tell their own stories. It also offers a platform to market Manchester’s creative industries to an audience that can be local or global.” Said Kate Drewett, Chair, CIDS.

So what are you waiting for? Register now to receive future copies of CREATIVE Times print and receive a one-month free trial of the site.
