Liverpool Design Symposium 2008

Published 21.08.08

A sparkling new addition to Liverpool’s creative scene, the inaugural Liverpool Design Symposium has pulled together a winning combination of design heroes and insightful events in a venue to die for.

Brought to all you creative types by D&AD and DBA together with Design Initiative, Merseyside ACME and three of Liverpool’s hottest design agencies, this is one for the design savvy.

Just to whet your appetite, Universal Everything’s Matt Pyke is our headline speaker, courtesy of the lovely people at D&AD, who will also be screening a selection of the very best creative work of the year. The DBA show us how to survive the credit crunch. And type-obsessives won’t want to miss font master Bruno Maag in his first Liverpool appearance.

Aspiring Creative? Fanatical Student? Not to worry, the D&AD team is on hand with top tips on making the big leap into the world of work with a student lecture.

And as if that’s not enough, we’ve thrown in a Roses Design Awards display for good measure, so come and have a nosey.

St George’s Hall, 23rd October 2008.

Booking opens soon and if you’d like us to keep you up to date, email info@liverpooldesignsymposium.com
