The Camel's Hump is growing...

The Camel’s Hump , an online magazine covering the arts, politics, food and opinion, has reached the milestone of 15,000 page views, with the vast majority over the last month.
The website, launched on the first of December 2011, is written and edited by a team of over 30 volunteers, with professional journalists working alongside new writers to create a website that is going from strength to strength.
“We are really pleased with how well the site is doing” said Alicia Duffy, Editor. “We have gone from an outlet for the odd rant to a fully fledged online magazine in less than three months. We decided right at the beginning to not compromise on quality, and I think that stance is really paying off.”
The Camel’s Hump is looking to strengthen coverage of the arts, including a new “Artist Spotlight” where one artist, from any discipline, is given one post to do with as they will. They might choose to post pictures, sound or video, write a short story or poem, or perhaps do something that is completely original.
The site also feature reviews, opinion, interviews and instructions, and is always on the lookout for things to write about and writers to write it.
