Peopleprint Community Media celebrate 25 years

Posted by: Patrick Ward, Creative Times on January 27, 2009 00:00

Peopleprint Community Media’s 25th birthday party and World Community Arts Day. To commemorate both we are re-creating the “All you need is love” performance by the Beatles for our first live global internet broadcast. Beatles tribute band “The Cheatles” will be performing the song along with our local volunteers and young people at our workshop. We’ll also be joined by arts and media organisations across the globe and aim to set the world record for the largest live online birthday party.

We believe in helping people change their lives through creativity. We’ve assisted many people to achieve their artistic dreams over the years and, as the song suggests ’there’s nothing you can do that can’t be done!"

We trying to get as many people to watch the performance live on the internet on 17 Feb 2009 at 7pm Watch on www.peopleprint.org.uk This is an exciting time for us and we’re already being contacted by arts organisations around the world.

Peopleprint is a not-for-profit arts organisation supporting creative industries in Rochdale.
