Organised by Urbis, the Best of Manchester Awards 2009 are now in their third year and are open for entries, with only one month left until the deadline. Celebrating innovation in art, music and fashion the awards are open to anyone living or working in Greater Manchester. Winners receive a £2000 cash prize, a major exhibition at Urbis and the kind of contacts and professional development that money can’t buy.

Our judges include Peter Saville, Wayne Hemmingway, Miranda Sawyer, Jeremy Deller, Tim Marlow and Yvette Livesey.
