Leeds-based digital agency Numiko have recently launched a new site for the BBC – CBeebies Sing-along.

CBeebies Sing-along brings the world of nursery rhymes to life. Using a set of simple, but powerful audio interactions, it draws children into bright, magical world, where they control the action. 

The content for can be enjoyed by sound recognition alone. As the child interacts with the song, they are rewarded with onscreen animations and rewards. The words also appear on screen as the child sings along, to help with early stage literacy. We’ve been able to remove many written instructions, making it more accessible for children at different stages of development, as well as those with special educational needs.
