New boost for businesses targeting China - A new UK website helps firms take a Bite of the action
A new website designed to educate businesses on the challenges and opportunities available to them in the growing Chinese market has been launched. Recently a number of high profile UK businesses have invested within the territory, including advertising agency WPP.
The website; SeoChina.co.uk, has been conceived, designed and built by online marketing agency Bite Digital. It is edited by the business’s growing China team, a dedicated group of professionals with experience of working within one of the world’s fastest growing economies.
The website provides British businesses with up to date information on the Chinese market and the changes taking place within the country that will affect businesses and trade. It’s objective is to educate business owners on the possibilities and to offer practical advice, to enable more businesses to successfully trade with the world’s second largest economy.
Jason Cozens managing director of Bite Digital, said: “China is an exciting market to be involved in at the moment. There have been a number of developments recently within the country including local government policies designed to encourage creative industries and internet businesses to enter the market and share their experiences.
“There has never been a better time for western companies to move into the market. However, there are still very few businesses who are aware of the possibilities open to them within the market.”
Bite Digital are working closely with UKTI to support British investment in China by supporting UKTI grant deployment which can cover up to 100% of the cost for UK businesses to translate their website into Chinese.
The website is now live at http://www.seochina.co.uk and is inviting submissions from other experts who wish to share their experience of China’s digital sector.
