After a four-way rigorous pitching process, Madhouse the integrated marketing agency has been selected to design and build two separate websites. The first for Yardley London, one of England’s oldest and most established purveyors of quality perfumes and soaps, who specialise in authentic and credible quality floral fragrances. The other for Woods of Windsor, an aspirational range of luxury bath, body and home fragrance products that utilises the flowers, plants and essential oils that can be found in England’s historical gardens and stately homes. Both brands are part of Lornamead’s newly created business unit which is dedicated to managing its luxury toiletries business.

Madhouse has been briefed to craft ecommerce sites to allow fans of both brands to purchase their favourite products online. These two sites will form an integral part of a bigger relaunch of the brands – both of which have long and illustrious histories – as they enter social media for the first time and move towards younger audiences. Alongside these external sites, Madhouse will create a complementary intranet site containing all the marketing support material in one hub.

Karen Cullen from Yardley/Woods of Windsor stated, “Madhouse showed us that they understood the heritage of the companies but also weren’t afraid to give both the push into the future that was needed.”
