Guinness Storehouse guru to talk at Manchester brand panel
Concluding a series of free Intellectual Property events across the North West, Northwest Vision and Media&Own-it North have just announced their final March event: “Brands valued: Or, what’s Woolworths worth?”
Ralph Ardill, former Marketing Director of Imagination, will be just one of a panel of experts discussing how to protect, exploit and realise the value in a brand. Ardill has pioneered UK thinking around Brand Experience, leading the development of the Guinness Storehouse – Ireland’s number one visitor attraction. His high-profile work has also included projects for Coca-Cola, Tate Modern and London Underground.
The session will be chaired by Warren Bramley (Creative Director at four23), and the panel will also include Sally Moses (from brand consultancy The Value Engineers) and John Burns (Halliwells). It promises to be an enlightening event for any creative or digital business.
The event takes place on 31st March from 6pm, at CUBE, Portland Street, Manchester. Registration is free, via the Own-it North website: www.own-it.org/north/
Ardill is the latest luminary from the creative&digital world to support Own-it North programme, joining John Dyer (Domino Records), Trevor Johnson (Creative Lynx), Nick Jaspan (How-do.co.uk) and Richard Stephenson (Yudu.com). Places are still available at their March events and places can be booked online through the Own-it North website.
