G2 Joshua bolsters not-for-profit expertise with sports charity Laureus
Social enterprise Laureus, a global charity which financially supports and promotes the use of sport for social change, has appointed integrated marketing agency G2 Joshua following a competitive four-way pitch.
G2 Joshua has been tasked with overhauling Laureus’ online presence, including a redesign and relaunch of its website – www.laureus.com.
The Interactive team at G2 Joshua will remodel the site’s content, format and navigation system as well as manage a full online integration with Laureus’ existing social media channels.
Laureus’ new website, set to launch early 2012, will act as a key driver in increasing individual donations and bolstering Laureus’ position as a leader in the field of leveraging sport as an empowerment to improving the lives of people in deprived situations.
The website will also provide latest news updates on the Laureus World Sports Awards 2012 which is to be held in London at the Central Hall, Westminster on Februrary 6.
Jason Bacon, Interactive Director at G2 Joshua, added: “This is a tremendously effective charity and we are inspired by their work. We’re thrilled to be on board and will relentlessly pursue a greater online engagement for Laureus, to help boost its global profile and ultimately allow the charity to continue to positively impact children’s lives across the world.”
