The Creative Industries Networking Group (CING) and Junior Chamber International (JCI) Manchester have today announced a partnership and series of joint events, designed to boost opportunities for the city’s entrepreneurs.

Both organisations have already been providing extensive support and development to the region’s entrepreneurial talent but by joining together, are seeking to broaden the potential of their respective members.

Boasting a long history and a worldwide federation of young leaders and entrepreneurs, with over 250,000 active members in over 100 countries, JCI Manchester is looking to harness the increasingly sought after skills and knowledge of the city’s creative sector.

“In a world where only one company can be the cheapest, all businesses, but particularly new businesses, are trying to find ways to stand out from the crowd, and to create a buzz, or positive marketing messages, about their brand. The wealth of creative talent CING offers gives them a way to do that”, says CING Operations Director, Phil Northall.

Similarly, CING’s mission is to support and develop its 1000+ creative members to reach their full potential, and has been providing networking, lectures, and workshops in Manchester for the past three years.

“By building relationships with the JCI’s comprehensive professional network, CING’s creative members can gain valuable business insights, and enhance both their contacts and client lists”, says JCI Manchester President, Deborah Rainford.

With two joint events planned for July and August the two organisations are keen to connect members and to develop those relationships for the mutual benefit of all.

Starting with Speed Networking on 13th July to formally introduce members to each other, this will be followed up with a more relaxed Summer Social BBQ on 4th August, and the chance to follow up on the connections made.

Full details about the events and membership can be found at www.c-i-n-g.org and www.jcimanchester.com respectively.
