Calling all creative, media and digital companies - help develop Greater Manchester’s future creative workforce!
New Creative Futures is your chance to play a part in developing the next generation of talent by inspiring and educating young people about their creative futures.
From September 2010, young people from colleges across Greater Manchester will take part in a programme of interactive events, activities and industry engagement designed to help prepare young people for future careers in the industries surrounding the development of MediaCityUK at Salford Quays.
At the centre of the programme will be a major event, taking place in and around MediaCityUK in November 2010. ‘Experience New Creative Futures’ will see 1,200 young people sample a hands-on ‘day in the life’ of a wide range of creative careers through an fully interactive one-day event.

New Creative Futures is asking companies and professionals to help develop the next generation of creative talent by offering a small amount of time and expertise.
How to get involved…
> First and foremost you could represent your company and your specialism at the Experience New Creative Futures event in November. Space at the event will be flexible and free, we’d just need you to provide an interesting and inspirational window into your creative world.
> Or, you could link with a college or sixth form to provide support for young people – be it a short talk, masterclass, live brief or internship. We will facilitate this through the programme, making links and creating opportunities on your behalf.
What’s in it for you?
