Call For Makers - NICE Festival Past Present Perfect exhibitions
Past Present Perfect is taking place across three venues in the North West of England (Manchester Craft & Design Centre, the Manchester Museum and the Grosvenor Museum, Chester). The exhibitions will showcase innovative work by designers and makers based in Norway and Greater Manchester, responding to the theme of tradition with a contemporary twist.
The exhibitions are part of the NICE Festival 2010, celebrating Norwegian and North West creativity through high profile exhibitions, events and cultural exchanges. The Festival runs between November 18th – December 2nd 2010.
We are looking for:
- Makers working in any craft / design media, preferably smaller scale work.
- Innovative new work inspired by tradition and heritage.
About the NICE Festival
NICE is a Nordic arts festival taking place in Manchester and the North West UK, and aims to present the best in collaborative works between the UK and the Nordic countries. Participants are coming to Manchester from Norway, Iceland, the Faroe Islands, Sweden, Denmark and Finland.
