The nights are drawing in and days are getting shorter. School stationery is on 2-for-1 offers in Sainsbury’s, and the Christmas ads will be starting soon. But, wait … it’s still not too late to apply for postgraduate and professional development programmes for arts and cultural professionals. We wanted to remind you what we have on offer at the University of Manchester’s Institute for Cultural Practices and also tell you about some new short courses we’ve designed especially for you, beginning this year.

The ICP runs a selection of courses and programmes tailored for various areas of work in the arts and cultural sectors – click links below, see our Institute for Cultural Practices webpages, download our leaflet or contact Programme Directors for further details. Programmes include:

· MA Arts Management, Policy and Practice *LIMITED PLACES AVAILABLE
· PhD Arts and Cultural Management
· PhD Museology
· Plus new Professional Doctorates in Applied Theatre, Arts and Cultural Management and Museum Practice
· Short development courses for Cultural Professionals – see blogpost
