Accidental Leaders @ MediaCityUK

An inspirational leadership course aimed at those working in the creative and digital industries is to launch at MediaCityUK.
Accidental Leaders, a course for top people in creative agencies, was originally developed by Vision+Media and has now been adopted by the University of Salford who are working with course developer Lynne McCadden, and deliverer Andrew Thomas, to bring it to a fresh audience.
The course will focus on company leaders who started their careers in a creative profession and feel as though they fell in to a leadership role- accidentally!
With business models rapidly changing, top business people need to be able to adapt quickly to change. Accidental Leaders will help them use their creative brains to make their business a success.
says Lynne McCadden.
Places are filling up fast for the course which will run over an initial period of three days in early November with a further two separate days to cement learning and to give delegates a chance to complete their tailored business goals.
Those attending will learn how to:
- Build commercial value into your business
- Differentiate between working “on the” business as well as working “in it”
- Lead and manage change in your business
- Plan for growth and business development
- Understand importance of networks and group dynamics
- Gain greater self insight as a leader and team member
The course, which will take place at MediaCityUK, costs £1,500 just £300 per day for high quality training, and the good news is that it qualifies for a £750 Management and Leadership bursary bringing the fee to just £750 in total. Further info on the Leadership and Management Advisory Service funding is here
Course dates are November 9,10,11 followed by Nov 25 and Dec 9.
