Come and help Castlefield Gallery celebrate its 25 years of exhibiting innovative contemporary art and supporting artists’ development. Our 25th Anniversary Party will feature: In collaboration with you, the party-goers, we will attempt to set the world record for the largest patchwork cake, live music by Mayming and a DJ, performance compering by Ms Coco LaVerne, and Everyone We Ever Worked With – find your name on the gallery walls researched by Jenny Core, Anna Matthams and Genevieve Rainbow. Our special guest for the event will be Peter Saville.

The best amateur baker will be awarded a prize selected by Ms Coco Laverne. Please bring your cake to the party between 4 – 6:30pm, cake judging will commence at 6.30pm.

Any uneaten cakes leftover from the party will be donated to The Big Issue in the North and other local charities. Unfortunately we will be unable to return cake bases/stands or decorations to bakers after the event
