The fourth in a series of Creative Times events looking at new technologies, old aesthetics and where the two meet.
Digital is part of our creative lives, creating new possibilities and opportunities. But does that mean pre-digital knowledge, expertise and aesthetics are redundant, or is something much more interesting happening as old and new come together in the mix?
This free event will see a panel of digital creatives share their experiences of the interplay between old and new, followed by an audience Q&A. The event will be introduced by Chris Sharratt, Editor of Creative Times and promises to be a lively and thought-provoking celebration of the creative possibilities of new technologies.
The panel:
James Wallbank, CEO, Access Space Network, the UK’s longest running and most sustainable, free, open digital arts lab.
James Boardwell, Director, Rattle and Folksy
Bea Marshall, Moogaloo, ‘a web design family’
Gregory Povey, Head of Production, Mudlark
The event will be chaired by Jag Goraya from The Gist Foundation
