Following the first series of networking events for the creative industries in Stockport, we are delighted to announce a new series for the coming year.

This event will be an exploration of the impacts and importance of online social networking . Of relevance to all creative practitioners, these rapidly expanding platforms create new environments increasingly used by business. Featuring speakers Chi-Chi Ekweozor, founder and director of Real Fresh TV and Digital Media Consultant, Maria Stukoff we anticipate a lively, informative, entertaining and provocative evening.

Set against the backdrop of Stockport Art Gallery’s exhibition on the multi-award winning TV programme, Life On Mars the evening will also provide an opportunity to meet other creative professionals from the Stockport area.

This event is organised by the Creative Industries Development Service (CIDS) in association with Stockport Economic Alliance and with the support of Stockport Council.

The Stockport Creative Industries Network events are aimed at creative professionals living or working in the Stockport area.
