Performing Arts Network and Development Agency (PANDA) is pleased to present a special series of Spotlight On information and networking events in early September, in partnership with Arts Council England, Contact and Zion Arts Centre.

The three events, which are free for both members and non-members, aim to prepare artists and companies in the North West for the Decibel Performing Arts Showcase and other prime networking opportunities. Each Spotlight On has a different theme, and will include a panel of speakers comprised of top arts professionals.

Spotlight On Presenting Yourself

Date: Tuesday 1st September 2009, 6.30pm. Venue: Contact, Oxford Road, Manchester, M15 6JA. Cost: Free.

Spotlight On Presenting Yourself will offer practical suggestions to take full advantage of promoting oneself at informal and social events.

Spotlight On Making the Most of Showcases and Festivals

Date: Monday 7th September 2009, 6.30pm. Venue: Contact, Oxford Road, Manchester, M15 6JA. Cost: Free.

Spotlight On Making the Most of Showcases and Festivals will include a panel of previous regional participants of Decibel and other showcase events who can give personal testimonies of personal successes and pitfalls from such events.

Spotlight On the North West

Date: Monday 14th September 2009, 6.30pm. Venue: Zion Arts Centre, 335 Stretford Road, Hulme, Manchester, M15 5ZA. Cost: Free.

Spotlight On the North West will be open to artists and programmers from around the country and will feature a panel of representatives of artists, venues, and support organisations in the region who can testify to the quality of work being made in the North West.
