Our team will categorise your items, give you your Frock Swap points, and get you a brand new look with the items you swap for, and all at the cost of a cup of tea and a slice of cake.

Maybe, monthly visits from fashion stylists, make-up artists, designers and editors to give you every tip under the sun to get the best wardrobe at the best price…?

Experts giving tips on fashion forecasting, photography, design classes and shows for those of you looking to forge a career in the industry…?

We’ve booked in the brilliant BODY SHOP for our first Swap Shop!

Their values fit perfectly with our host’s, CUP CAFE, ethical, fair trade, environmentally friendly etc, and we all agree thats something everyone should be interested in…

They’re bringing a great selection of smell and feel good products from the store, as well as some hampers for Christmas presents – brilliant!

Prices are AMAZING – 2-for-1 on some products, and they’re doing a RAFFLE for us this month worth £50.00!!

We’ve got JASON our style advisor on hand to discuss possibilities for new outfits, and CONSTANZE from the London College Of Fashion is coming along to discuss alterations and tailoring with swappers…

HOW TO:

• p. Gather up your well-loved but swappable clothes, bags and accessories…

• p. Come down to Cup Cafe&Gallery, first Monday evening of each month…

• p. Hand them in to our fashionista stylist for categorising…

• p. Indulge in a slice of cake and a cup of tea (we might even be allowed wine!)…

• p. Browse the goodies on the swap rails…

• p. Get swapping!!

All the goods brought in will be categorised, and you’ll be given points for bringing something along.

You can either, points match and do a direct swap on the night, or collect your points to swap them for something at a later date, of a higher rank and really super special!!

TIP:

If you have photos of your items, post them on the events page, and people can browse before the event – it might make speedy swapping!!

Frock&Fancies is all about meeting people, saving money, and still getting to have a good trawl through some clothes and find some good get up!!

With tea, cake and (fingers crossed) wine too!!
