There’s no either/or anymore – digital is part of our creative lives, creating new possibilities and opportunities. But does that mean pre-digital knowledge, expertise and aesthetics are redundant, or is something much more interesting happening as old and new come together in the mix?
This free event will see a panel (tbc) of local digital creatives share their experiences of the interplay between old and new, followed by an audience Q&A.
Introduced by Chris Sharratt, Editor of Creative Times, and chaired by Clare Reddington, Director, iShed and Pervasive Media Studio, it promises to be a lively and thought-provoking celebration of the creative possibilities of new technologies.
The panel:
Jonathan Waring, Creative Director, 3Sixty digital design agency
Baldur Bjarnason, expert on eBooks and interactivity
David McGoran, Roboticist, Puppeteer, Toy maker, Dancer, Creative Technologist
Simon Johnson of SlingShot, creators of street and pervasive games
