This month we have shifted both the regular date and our regular venue in order to incorporate the launch of what we hope you will agree is a great opportunity for everyone working in and around the creative industries.
This month our meetup will be on Monday 12th April from 6pm, and to find out where it is taking place you need to register at www.meetup.com/c-i-n-g .
We will be welcoming the * University of Salford Business School * to our event to give a short overview of their new * Innovation Bazaar * programme which has been described as an open innovation marketplace that will seek to link talented people with ideas, to those organisations and investors with the knowledge and resources to develop this talent and these ideas into market ready products or services.
We will also have a brief presentation from someone who has been through this development process and is able to share their insights of how to take an idea through to worldwide success. This experience will be provided by * Barbara Hastings-Asatourian, founder of Contraception Education and the creator of Contraception the Board Game * . This original idea for a new way to teach children about sexual health has now been developed into a range of different formats and translated into a number of different languages to be sold around the world.
As ever there will be plenty of opportunity to network in the usual relaxed and informal CING style and to chat with your fellow creatives. For more details about the event and the Innovation Bazaar itself go to the event page , where you can also register to attend. There are limited places for this event so get registered as soon as you can to avoid disappointment.
