Bloomberg New Contemporaries supports emergent art practice from British Art Schools. Since 1949, New Contemporaries has provided a critical platform for new and recent fine art graduates primarily by means of an annual, nationally touring exhibition.

Exhibition participants are selected by a panel predominantly made up of artists and writers by means of a rigorous two-stage process.

The selectors for 2011 were Pablo Bronstein, Sarah Jones and Michael Raedecker.
