DMEX links the experience and skills of traditional media freelancers and employees with the new markets and innovation of the region’s best Digital Media companies. It offers unique opportunity for Digital Media businesses to work with, and learn from, established professionals from the television industries, sharing skills and knowledge between both sectors.

As part of the programme, we are running a series of training events exploring some of the new&emerging digital media platforms and their potential uses in content creation. These sessions are targeted at TV professionals that are looking to develop their knowledge of the digital media landscape.

This DMEX training session will feature a presentation from Carlton Reeve, Creative Director at Desq – one of the leading digital training companies in the UK. Carlton will be attending this session to talk about how to approach interactive drama&entertainment projects – it’ll be a great opportunity to learn from one of the country’s leading experts in the cross-platform field. In addition, Nick Hanson (Producer, Digital Media) from Conker Media will present case studies on how they’ve created youth-centred cross-platform media content – based around Lime Picture’s terrestial property such as Hollyoaks.
