They Eat Culture Profile

They Eat Culture run new arts programming and playful inclusion events, alongside quality cultural projects across spaces and places of Lancashire.

They Eat Culture work in partnership with The Continental venue around social and cultural regeneration agendas, alongside a wider partnership base with local / county authorities, education, third sector, and private enterprise.

TEC run a year-round multi-arts programme in the Continental’s events space. TEC deliver community based projects around inclusion and media/arts-based literacy through working with emergent and nationally recognised creative practitioners. We work with associate

artists and volunteers, and create opportunities for individuals, groups and business to access quality arts and development opportunities.

Key to our current work in the Continental space is our ‘New Writing’ strand, which focuses on the North West and beyond, programming new writing across theatre, cinema, live literature and written creative

work. This work is supported through discussion events and workshops. We also run the Lancashire Writing Hub, an online space for new writing, CPD, and opportunities in Lancashire
