Reform brand The Media Foundation Placement Scheme

Independent label Me and Yu goes to Spain

Reform Creative have recently produced a brand for Northwest Vision and Media’s Media Foundation Placement Scheme.

The previous MFPS logo was dated and had no connection to the NWVM brand. We brought the logo up-to-date and on brand using colours and elements from the parent identity. The scheme itself is a very exciting and pioneering programme; the final logo embodies these qualities bringing energy and vibrancy to the brand. The logo works as a set of four, utilising NWVM’s corporate colours, this, combined with the multi-layered vectors and punched out initials is intended to show the variety of media opportunities available and the freedom MFPS offers young people.

The Media Foundation Placement Scheme is a 12 month, paid vocational training placement scheme for individuals from black, Asian or minority ethnic backgrounds who are looking to build experience in the media industry.

The scheme gives talented individuals from the Northwest region the opportunity to gain the skills, experience and networks in order to kick-start a career in media & broadcasting.

The Media Foundation Placement Scheme is now in its 3rd year and ITV Granada, the BBC and Lime Pictures have once again joined forces with Northwest Vision and Media to offer up to twenty trainees a once-in-a-lifetime chance on the Media Foundation Placement Scheme (MFPS) – and take their first steps on the TV career ladder.
