The Chapel Street Business Group was formed in 1999 and boasts over 550 members to date. We provide a network of support for local businesses throughout Salford.
Dynamic, enthusiastic and proactive, the Chapel Street Business Group is one of the key driving forces behind the economic development of the historic core of Salford in line with the strategic aims of the regeneration strategy. Sweeping from the upper Crescent to lower Chapel Street and encompassing all the areas in-between, Chapel Street Business Group is one of the largest and longest running Business Groups in the North West.
Run by businesses for businesses, CSBG has been instrumental in encouraging inward investment to the area in addition to addressing member issues through the provision of a dedicated communal voice to decision makers. Membership is diverse and represents a wide range of sectors, from professional services to creative industries; allowing members to network and explore mutual business opportunities between themselves.
Chapel Street Business Group can support your business in a number of different ways. A regular programme of events provides members with important information on key aspects of running their business. Focused seminars are designed to cover areas where your business will benefit from expert advice on issues ranging from taxation to employment law, public relations and marketing right through to web development. Chapel Street Business Group meets regularly to discuss topical issues affecting businesses in the area; these regularly include planning applications, developments, events and new opportunities.
Membership is free.
